  2. Following the ambitious song cycle Nude, Camel attempted their version of an Alan Parsons Project album with The Single slinabarredyfa.inerpaimanneatubontiphedislarok.infoinfoering that Parsons was having hits that year with songs like "Eye in the Sky," it's not surprising that Camel tried to capture the same audience, yet their talent didn't lay with pop music -- it lay with atmospheric instrumentals and creating detailed soundscapes.4/

  4. The first 2 songs on this album are so bad it made my jaw drop. This is Camel's tenth studio album. The original LP was about 38 minutes long. There is one bonus track bringing the total time up to 41 minutes. Sound quality is very clear and bright. This is called the Single Factor because only Andy Lattimer from the original group remains/5.
  5. CAMEL The Single Factor ( UK track vinyl LP, often mistaken for a compilation but in fact the ninth studio album by the band named as such due to only Andrew Latimer being the the sole remaining original member left in the band, includi ng Sasquatch and arguably one of Camel's best pop songs 'No Easy Answer'.

  7. Nevertheless, the album has some pretty good songs as well. Three to four pieces that are astonishing. Don't get me wrong. I love Camel, but this has to be their weakest album. If you are new to the band, you should first try out their four early masterpieces ( - ). Recommended tracks from the record: No Easy Answer - Selva - Today's /5.
  8. No Easy Answer Lyrics: No easy answers / Come to me / That I can see / No easy answers / Were close at hand / When I began / To ask the questions one by one / So all the loose ends stay undone.
  9. After the highly conceptual Nude, came The Single Factor, which was a return to the more commercial type efforts Camel made in the late seventies. However, while those albums were patchy at best, this one really hits the mark. 'No Easy Answer' is a very weak overly poppy opener, but don't be fooled, the album really gets into it's stride after this/5(34).
